Welcome to the CommPlus Internet Services Trouble Shooting Guide for Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 4.x.

I get disconnected after 20 minutes or I have to redial frequently.

1. In Internet Explorer click on View on the menu bar then Internet Options.
2. Click on the Connection tab option.
3. Click on the Settings.
4. Remove the check next to: Disconncect if idle for more than ___ minutes.
5. Click OK
6. Click OK
7. Monitor your connections to see if the problem cleared.
8. If this doesn't correct the problem, you need to check your phone line(s). Look for loose wires, tightly streched cables, corrosion (etc...).  If the problem persists, you need to contact the telephone company to have your line checked.
9. Complete!
